Student Dashboard

The Student Dashboard is the main student area which allows users to manage everything they need to achieve their learning goals.

At the top of the page students can see the Upcoming Lessons area which allows them to go straight into a lesson that might be taking place soon. The Join links become live when the lesson is taking place. If they have other lessons booked in a week/month, they can see them in the Upcoming Lessons area but they won’t be able to join. For easy access, they can click on the tasks assigned for the upcoming lessons.

Students can also browse their courses which are located just below the upcoming classes. This allow students to go into the course area where they are able to access files, recipes and tasks related to that specific course.

Quick snapshots of tasks and files are also provided to students on their main dashboard. Tasks are divided by course and lesson and from the preview area students can change their status by checking the tick box. They can also access the full list of tasks by clicking on View all tasks.

The My Files area is organised in a very similar way to the tasks. In this case students have folders which can be organised in the way they like. A folder can be a course, a lesson or it could be a list of recipes. They can click on the View all files to manage them.

At the bottom of the dashboard there’s a list of recommended courses to ensure students keep up to date and also book more courses.

One of the main features of the Student Dashboard is the Window Menu which allows students a double navigation and provide them with links to go straight into areas that may be interested in. This is similar to an email panel and it’s fixed on the screen which means that the when the user scrolls down to the page, the menu on the left is always visible.

In addition, from this area students can access their profile and change their expertise and goals. They can also explore more courses and teachers by clicking on the explore button.
